Fruit Description: Large, delicious fruit ripen very uniformly in large bunches. Berries are oval, black, and average 7.5 g each. The fruit have a thick skin but soft and juicy interior. With 3 seeds per berry weighing 8 g per 100 seeds, there is an average flesh to seed ratio of 30:1.

More Info: Native to the Southeastern United States, Muscadine Grapes were discovered by the early colonists and have been a favorite fruit of Southerners ever since. The Alachua variety is a black fruited cultivar with mid-season ripening. The fruit are small, but ripening is even. The vines have medium-high vigor and good yield. A popular fresh market cultivar.
